Having fitted them to my car I can recommend the Golf shocks, they do make a very noticeable difference. They are quite expensive of you change all four though (around £160 plus fitting).

I have had same impression with my MY15 Octavia with 205/55 tires on 16” rims.

I have had to change Continentals to Kleber to have a little bit smoother ride. 
 

My friend has bought FL MY18 model - and there is much difference! Much smoother ride in the city. 
 

Have they changed supplier or done some change in FL model?
