Hi new to the forum just bought my first fun pick up. A quick question when I pull out the rear seats they don't seem to lock into position. I'm guessing they do but just want clarification on them please

Yes, the pull out bulkhead should lock into position when moved back, via the latches half way up the sides.   Given that the seat belts are integrated into the bulkhead, I'm pretty sure it could lead to an MOT failure if it didn't lock into position.  When I first got my Fun, one side wouldn't lock into place, but I sorted it by making adjustments to the locks/catches and plenty of lubrication.  You need to make sure that the release handle mechanism, lock link bars/pivots etc. (that connect the lock release handle to the locks) are working smoothly.  You can access these by removing the seat back upholstery pad by removing the 4 studs in the centre of the back and sliding the pad sideways.  Does the bulkhead lock into place when you set it forward into the 2 seat set up?

Thank you for the reply iv had the back of the rear seats off today and had a fiddle with the insides and it now locks in perfectly. I think it was just abit sticky I guess from little use. Thanks
