Hi All

The brake disk cover has come loose and is rattling and rubbing on the disk.

Are they easy to remove, fix or replace??

Had a look. What a crap design. Vibration causes it to shear at the fixing holes although the rest are in perfect condition. Anyhoo, didn't have the right size of tool to remove the caliper carrier. Will need to get the right tool and 2 new covers and get them fitted.

Covered a week or two ago.

 

You need to remove the caliper, caliper carrier and hub.

 

The caliper carrier requires an M16 spline...

I took off the wheel and caliper and cut off the old one with a pair of tin snips until the new one arrived.
