I have an Octavia mk2 1.9tdi, there was a sound of something metal dragging the other day, pulled over and saw nothing, then all was fine.

 

Possibly unrelated, but today the turbo hissing sound is really loud, like rushing air.

 

Seems to pull fine, no noticeable loss in power, boosts ok.

 

But during boost the air rushing is very loud.

 

Any ideas what I need to look for?

 

I have looked around air box, EGR, all looks well.
