Seems genuine compared to the usual "I have moved abroad, I have been given a promotion and a business car, so the car is no longer needed. The car will be shipped to you" scam.

At least you can go and inspect it before handing money over, I would be interested to see pictures of the car before the cat D repair.

Doesn't look too bad, could be a bargain for someone depending on how high the price goes.

 

I'd personally never write off, no pun intended, a category D car. So long as I could see pictures of the damage and check the repair work out I'd be happy to buy one if everything else checked out.
