Hello from a soon to be new Superb owner

Featured Replies

Hi just wanted to introduce myself  and say that I am picking up a 2009 Superb 1.8 TSI on Saturday and can't wait. I used to have a Passat years ago and always loved the build quality of the interior etc. However one thing that bugged me was that the Passat didn't come as a hatchback. So I changed to a Toyota Avensis 1.8 (bought from my father in law) which has been a good reliable car but....it bores me to tears. When the new Superb came out with the dual boot/hatch set up I thought it was a brilliant idea (and am surprised that other manufacturers haven't copied this) but I couldn't afford a new one. Only now have I been able to look at these and my one is in black with cream leather. I was blown away by the interior and the quality feel. I don't really know much about cars so I hope I am buying a good one. For peace of mind I have been thinking about buying a repair warranty for a couple of years. Does anyone think this would be worth it ?  Thank You

Welcome from another petrol Superb owner. I also have the ivory interior. It does make it look classy.

Thanks for the welcome. I have someone coming on Friday to do a premium valet on the interior which includes steam clean and applying cream to the leather seats. It is a bit grubby but I'm hoping this will have it looking like new (or almost!!)
