Hi folks,

I have octi 2005 lnk. From past 2 days I have been getting grinding noise wgen i turn steering at low speeds... checked power steering oil it looked good and the level is fine as well... took it to a garage today and mechanic said the mounts needs to be replaced... can mounts b a reason behind this noise or is he just trying to make money out of this...

Top mounts are a pretty common failure with symptoms like you describe.

    Thanks for revert mate... went to another mechanic today... he lubricated front discs and that soved it...
