What is the correct way to install the pipes in and out?!?

I've installed mine this week, but having looked at the picture I took for my build thread, it got me thinking.

I've currently got the breather pipe from the top of the engine going into the top of the can, with the lower going to the turbo intake. In my mind it should be the other way around as the oil drops from the engine breather pipe, so should enter at the bottom, with the oil free stuff coming out of the top, but I'm far from an expert and others have installed it the same way I currently have it.

Anyone care to share their knowledge?!

There is a perforated pipe that runs down from your connection from cam cover into the lower part of separator

If it was just a empty catch can it would be piped up wrong
