needing some advice i bought genuine ross tech vag com from gendan and I've broken the cable can anyone help me how to get just the cable 

Unless you buy the pro kit you only get the cable anyway. why don't you see if it can be repaired?

As above, surely you can get your cable repaired.

maybe contact ross tech or genden im sure the fact you have a legit cable they may do a repair /replace at a discounted rate

If the damage is at the OBD2 (multipin) end then you could shorten the cable by opening up the shell and soldering the same coloured wires into place, and if its then too short you could use a USB extention ! it would of course cancel your warrenty,  cheers - Stuart
