Brake line part

Recommended Posts

I removed by nearside rear calliper and need to replace the part labeled as number 22 on the diagram below. It is the last bit of steel brake line that goes in to the calliper, only a few inches long. Does anybody know where to get this part? Hopefully the dealer will be able to source it. Or is there an alternative?

Thanks for all your help folks. I managed to get the part this afternoon and fitted a new calliper. Unfortunately it seems that the rear calliper on the other side is now binding while previously it did not. Any ideas? Should the rear callipers be replaced in pairs or have I done something wrong? I did not change the handbrake adjustment as I did not fit new pads/discs

Going by the corrosion I found in mine at the start of the year, no amount of wd40/GT85 or similar was going to help. Due to being 170 miles away from home a very short on time, my father in law made me a new one. If I had more time I would have ordered a OE pipe, as it's so short and has about 4 bends in it, it was hard to do.
