Superskoda blinds - how to fit?

Featured Replies

Just received my blinds from superskoda (great service considering the distance!!) and they didn't come with any fitting instructions.... Not sure if they're meant to or not. I got a little bag with a load of metal clips and plastic PCs with sticky bits on them. Does anyone know where I can find instructions?

Easy peasy

Just position them and it will all make sense

I used 3 plastic ones on the rear blind, although 2 top and 2 bottom (close to corners would have been better)

For the sides, use the metal clips (I used 4 on each side window)

Just peel the rubber back, insert the clip and jobs a good un

Any questions, feel free to ask

Drew a quick sketch which may explain better

As I said, 2 of the sticky ones near to the top corners (You can't get them too close to the centre because of the brake light plastic cover)

and 2 lower corners. Shouldn't need any on the sides, as the fit is tight anyway.

And the rear windows, 2 on the b pillar (just lift the rubber and hook it in leaving the plastic protected part of the clip showing)

One at the top just behind the part where the window divider is, and one at the back where it tapers down.

Let us know how you go on

Cool that helps a lot, I couldn't see what to do with the metal clip things but when you try it, it all becomes much clearer :)

The rear one in mine is just wedged in!! :)

Same here. Not budged in a week.

Got mine sorted today, the side ones were a piece of cake but the back was a PITA!

It wedges in and stays put without any issue but the top hangs down a bit, leaving a gap below the rear brake light. I wanted to use the clips to pull it up into the trim but they kept coming off with the sicky pads. Tried araldite and they popped off just as quickly! Ended up putting a self tapper through them, seems to be staying put now :)

Yes, I was going to use a self tapper myself

Won't go anywhere then.

Glad you got it sorted :)
