my SK(oda) FAB journey

Featured Replies

Thought I'd make a thread up of my fabia journey seeing as I have done a fair bit to it now and slowly getting to know other fabia owners so time to get to know more of you ;). I wont bore with a long detailed story of whats already been done as the pictures will do most the talking for me

I went from owning a seat leon cupra running 270bhp 285ft/lb with launch control to the fabia vrs. I bought this car back in February 2014 with 118,500miles pretty much standard other than fk coilovers, 17" spider alloys and the roof, wing mirrors and door centres painted black. since then I have added my own touches to make it my own.

  • went for the wide mouth front bumper look with a sticker number plate
  • got the seat sport front mount intercooler off a forum member and bought the 57mm egr delete, and 57mm silicone hoses to go with it
  • remapped to 185bhp 285ft/lb at cc tuning
  • changed to the darkside hard pipe kit as I kept blowing hoses off at most inconvenient times
  • got the door bump strips painted gloss black
  • made a bracket and fitted omp bucket seats and harnesses
  • uprated 666 cg motorsport singlemass flywheel clutch kit with gearbox oil change

Yet to be done/plans;

  • fitting pd150 headbolts (fitting tomorrow)
  • fit a gtb17/60vk hybrid turbo from xman turbo's
  • remapped yet again
  • finish drivers vent boost gauge pod
  • get a rear anti roll bar
  • fit quick release bumper ties
  • possibly lsd depending how the car drives after the remap
  • full re-spray eventually

Looking good mate. I'd recommend fitting an LSD

Cheers yeah i probably will get one be interesting to see the comparison between having one and not fitted the pd150 headbolts today so one step closer to having more power just need a day to fit the turbo and get it remapped the same day
