Decided to do the clutch on the fabia as the subframe was off for a replacement power steering rack on removal of gear box seen this rub mark in the casing looks to have had a new clutch not to long ago but Prev owner claims not. There is no damage to the clutch not Much wear loads of dust in there indicate a Prev clutch had serious issues car is solid flywheel 100hp tdi

The release bearing looks like it's seized at some point, it's very rusty as well, I'd certainly replace the lot, what's the flywheel face like?

Flywheel not bad at all was driving 100% just heavy clutch

Well done most of hands on person my self but due to ill health I can only do some jobs on my car because heart problems .

Any way price £175 for my clutch stage 1 from c&g motor sport been quoted £200 5 hours labor because there doing the job I going get them fit new gear mounts too

Hope to god they don't mess my car up never trusted garages as I have always had my own work by my self then I have always know what I have done to my car going in on Tuesday for the car to be done
