Skoda Warrantee

Featured Replies

Little bro has just put his fabia vrs in for its 60k service.

The car is 22 months old.

He was under the impression that his skoda warrantee was 3 years or 60k so is now out of warrantee.

The guy at the dealership said that its 2 years unlimited mileage on then 3 years or 60k and as he's already done 60k his warrantee is good for the full 3 years (jan 07)

Is this guy talking complete sloblock or what?

Confused of Aylesbury......:)

Tis right as far as i know.

That sounds right to me.

The first two years are from the manufacturer while the third year, I think, is from the dealer network so is more restricted.

New Vehicle Warranty

SkodaAuto are pleased to provide a two year unlimited mileage warranty against defects in material or manufacture on all its new vehicles. In addition SkodaAuto U.K. provides a further warranty on new vehicles supplied by them, through their appointed retailer network which is valid until the vehicle has completed 60,000 miles or the end of the third year, whichever is the sooner. In the event of a vehicle becoming defective due to faulty manufacture or material, it must be promptly returned to an appointed Skoda Retailer where it will be repaired free of charge.

The warranty commences on the date of delivery to the first user. It is transferable to a second and subsequent owner on completion of the transfer form in the customer literature wallet.

To obtain the full benefit of this warranty it is essential that the vehicle is properly serviced in accordance with the Manufacturer's instructions.
