Can you just put something vague?  My old man had a job that he didn't like to tell too many about (upper management in the nuclear industry) & just used to put "Public Servant".

Just rang admiral to cancel my multicar, and they reduced the price by £110 to what I was paying for!

These insurance companies do try and get away with it!

I shopped around before calling them up. Multi car and Individual prices. All came in more than I was paying originally!

I've had to settle for paying around the same few pound more but was cheaper for me to do two insurances rather than multi car

I've been with Hastings for a few years, no one has come near, i'm paying £450 for my FSI and Silverline, fully comp with everything plus legal cover and breakdown, one is for business use the other SDP. I'm 44 with full no claims

That's good... I just don't get car insurance anymore so ramdon I think they pluck figures out there ***..

Just got my Multicar renewal through from Admiral today for the two cars in my profile - £520.

Did a moneysupermarket quote on the two cars separately and got it down to £430 (Tesco & Endsleigh).

Also did an online Admiral Multicar quote as a new customer - £452.

When I rang up Multicar they noticed a few mistakes on my online quote and reduced it down to £401 with a £250 excess.

I've now been with Admiral since 2009. I've found that you have to play the game to get the best prices.

Ive done the same thing with Admiral over the last few years. This years renewal came to £620 for the 3 cars, a new quote and talking to them got it down to £415. The comparison were much the same but the excesses were higher

Why pay for legal protection when you can get it for FREE!  Try googling "Free Motor Legal".

Just a thought.

Dave

I took the motor legal off my insurance as well, as I realised I was paying for it multiple times, through insurance, through RAC, through bank etc. took about £50 off my multi car policy removing it.
