Connects2 Aux Adapter

Featured Replies

So i picked myself up a Connects2 Aux adapter a couple of weeks ago and after wrestling with various head unit keys ive finally managed to get the HU out to install the thing (and lost one of my radio station preset buttons in the process :( ).

So yeah I bought a Connects2 CTVSKX001 as it claimed to fit the MK1 Fabia system (this one). However i have found that the wire I have recieved is entirely incompatable with the back of my Skoda Symphony unit. Anyone have any ideas, im not sure if ive just bought the wrong unit or if they have dispatched me the wrong cable or if im just doing something idiotic in the installation. Anywho im posting some pictures of the cables i recieved. Wonder if anyone can point me in the right direction with what i SHOULD have purchased.

It was my understanding the connects should go in one end of the space you have there (where the multi changer normally would). If it doesn't fit id say they've sent the wrong one.

For future reference, the modern Kenwood keys work a treat, had mine out in under ten seconds.

Cable certainly looks nothing like the one in the website. Should have a smaller, blue, socket type connector. Yours appears to have pins!

Get in touch with "Dynamic Sounds".

I agree with above, it should be a little blue connector like this....

Does anyone else experince feedback through the speakers when using connect2? Mine whistles with the engine revs, ive tried moving the earth and it made no difference.
