Need a little help

 

My 2010 Octavia 1.6TDI has recently developed a issues in that it drops into limp mode and the glow light on dash if flashing. I have plugged in a non-VCDS code reader and getting the following code displayed 001D8B but unable to find this anywhere.

 

 

Or anyone with VCDS in the Oxfordshire area that could assist ???

Engine managent light now on still showing same code ??

Tried contacting a local member but have  now decided to purchase VCDS arrives monday hope it will give me a better idea than my other code reader.

VCDS arrived plugged in and showing following code

7563 - ERG SENSOR 1

P046c 00 (237) - implausable signal

MIL ON - CONFIRMED - TEST SINCE MEMORY CLEAR

Freeze Frame :

                       Fault status :00000001

                       Fault priority  : 2

                       Fault Freq  : 4

I guess it needs the ERG unit replaced.

 

 

Another fault found  00470 - Comfort databus in single wire

                               011  -  open circuit - intermittent

 Freeze frame

               Fault status : 00101011

               Fault Priority :3

               Fault freq : 2             Any idea would be a great help
