Looking for some help with my octavia iii vrs (northwest if possible)

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I've had the new vrs for a week today and I'm itching to enable some of those extra options that are available via vcds, only problem is I don't own the Ross tech kit. I'm basically looking for a kind and experienced forum member with vcds to give me a hand, obviously I'll drive pretty much anywhere in the new rs so although I'd prefer northwest I'd consider anywhere up to 100 miles from manchester.

Obviously there will be some beer in the boot as thanks for the help ;)

ha ha ha

no not really, I get the beep about a minute after I set off and because my street has a 20 sign it gets stuck on that for a while but its all good thanks.  It behaves a bit strangely on the m60 in the 50 restrictions and keeps showing national speed limit signs despite not passing any...

The four flashes hasnt come into play yet but im keeping a watch out for it ;)

I just have to listen to my other half complain about her car at the moment, I dont know how long I can continue to drive this

At some point in the near future I see the golf either going or becoming a project and another car being purchased...

Try this for the 4 flashes - go into Car > Setup > Lighting on Infotainment and reset the lighting to factory defaults. You may have to turn on Light Assist again afterwards.

Slight typo - Car > Settings > Factory Defaults and reset the Lighting :)
