Hi all..

Im completely new and dont know much about cars so ill be happy for any help. Driving a lot including Europe and therefore I have choosen to buy skoda. Time will show if that was good idea. I recently bought 2012 Skoda octavia vRS with 26k on and I have many questions..where to start lol..First where is any good/not expensive body shop in or around mcr to fix scratches and small rust on boot door edge. Second is there anyway how to change the display on dashboard because its not showing open door etc..just basic thing. Asking because I have seen in the past more described displays on these cars. Last main thing is there anyway how to adjust headlights to be able drive to Germany without deflectors? Thx

Headlights for driving on the left - yes.  There is a guide on this site on how to make the change.  it's easy, takes me less than 5 minutes to do both.

Basically remove headlight (undo large white nut at top rear and pull lever at inside edge of headlight unit).  Pull put headlamp unit and unclip electrical connector.  Remove rubber over back of dip unit and look inside.  You will see a rocking metal lever -  move this to other position and job done.  More extensive guide with photos available if you search.

More comprehensive display - yes.  You need to change to a Maxidot unit.  Again, this topic is covered if you do a search.
