whats pros and cons of having one, could it make insurance more expensive are they prone to failing, presume its a expensive extra

I don't think it's sometihng you can retrofit, if that's what you've got in mind. The whole panel layout is different to the standard roof. They are very nice though - glad we specced it :sun:

I've had three cars in the past with sunroofs and hardly ever opened them...mind you, I don't like the Sun much...I prefer the windows shut and the air-con on.

I don't see the point in them to be honest and with air con even less of a necessity.

I quite like them, I would have spec'd one on my car if the option was open.

Although the a/c on the citigo seems very good with no apparent effect on performance and only a couple of mpg lost using it.
