Will a octavia bootlid fit inside a octavia

Featured Replies

What do u reckon guys? Hatchback vrs bootlid into a hatchback vrs. Looking at it I think it will...

"JUST"  :D

From memory though to be comfortable enough, both speaker shelfs had to be taken down too.

I think it will - and this isn't my biased opinion ;) - if you get the rear seats flat, put the bottom section in first on a tilt and then it should slide in far enough for clearance? Some sheets and stuff to pad it up to prevent glass flexing. Only problem may be the strut braces behind the seats, will have to pad those up well.

I fitted an estate tailgate in an estate if that's any help? :p :giggle:

Lol. I'll dismantle the speaker surrounds and pad up the strut brace bits before I pick it up then :) just didn't want to drive all the way to collect it and couldn't fit it in.

It's proper snug and needs to go in at the right angle bit a will go. Can't remember if I had to remove the braces aswel. Possibly.
