Passenger window motor knacked

Featured Replies

Hi

My front passenger window motor is broken. Currently the window doesn't move at all when you press the button and slides down a little on its own over time.

Any ideas how much including labour it is to fix?

I'm based in Warwick if anyone has any recommendations on where to take it.

Many thanks,

When you press the button, do you hear anything?

You say it goes down by itself over time. How do you fix this?

I hear an awful crunching sound.

I pull it up by opening the door and getting my hands on both sides of the glass. I cant get it to stay at the top anymore though. :(

sorry to spam but saves making a thread.

Really? I was under the impression the inner pannel was rivveted on. Ive looked on here for a guide but had no joy?

Ah yes depends on MY of car - mine is an early 04MY where it was bolted on. Even if its riveted just drill them out and replace with bolts, adds about another 15 minutes on.
