ChrisRs's Citroen DS4 cleaning day

Featured Replies

Our other car, as some of you know, is a Citroen DS4 160Hdi DSport

We took delivery around Easter time and after an initial polish and clean up, I haven't really spent too long on it..preferring to play with the MX-5 and getting that looking perfect

So today, after a quick wash and dry, I gave it a thorough polishing (GTechniq P1..to finish the container, with a soft pad) and clean out, finishing with Bilt Hamber Autobalm (Two coats) and topped later with AG Detailer Spray

Wheels and shuts applied with Sonax BSD, Tyres with Megs Tyre Dressing

Another coat of GTechniq G5 on the glass all around

Very pleased with it

Im using Auto Glym QD at the moment..3 for 2 at Halfords and find it superb

Id forgotten how good it is in fact..

Highly recommended for a light spray and wipe of the car when you find it covered in dust and pollen at the moment

Well done looks the dogs dangleys

Thanks Andy

Chris, are you saying that you advocate spraying a QD on a dusty car and then wiping with a cloth?

I know thats what its said you can do but I've always thought that that was a recipe for scratches.

I await your response with anticipation.

Regards

Mike.

It was only dust from being standing in the drive and heavy pollen....not driven since washed the day before

Yes...no problems at all

Thanks, Mate.
