I think mine has a turbo beemer or is it beaver?

Seriously though, I think I may need some soon :(

Fancy doing another set Ross? As an addition to a 40k service? :)

:naughty: - dunno but I will ask her  (as in my SWMBO ;) ;) ) - my bday tomorrow so you never know

I had Bonrath Polyurethane Bushes fitted on my MK2 GTI!! Were Superb! Tightened up the whole car! Absolute pig to fit, especially the rear axle ones but well worth it!!

I have them in the boot of my car. Waiting for a trip to the garage (shouldn't be long before something catastrophic warrants the need).

Had them on my Polo. On standard suspension they were amazing, on 60mm Spax kit the car was as harsh as hell even on the softest damping, but that could have been more down to the suspension.

Do they improve handling when fitted like that?

Yeah. I like, hang corners and drift and all my mates fink I'm the ******.

Does anyone know if you need a press to fit the bushes. I know you did on my Polo (big time - creaaak.... BANG), but the Fabia ones look like they might just push in by hand.

That or a big vice!!!!

:rofl::D

But I am VERY interested to know too - I've got new front bushes anyway, but I bet I'll knacker them pretty quick - I'm either after bushes to replace existing older bushes in my car, or those udders.

Yeah. I like' date=' hang corners and drift and all my mates fink I'm the ******.

The front of the wishbone bushes need to be pressed out and the new powerflex ones just slide in. The rear one that is mounted in the ali console needs a special puller/fitting tool.

Still dont know. Some suspension mod are they? Diagram? Photo?

They replace the existing rubber (?) bushes that are used to mount the suspension and ARBs. The Powerflex ones are made of Polyeurathane (sp?) I think and have a longer life expectency and also don't flex as much as the standard rubber ones.....

Chris

At the same time they increase noise (slightly)

and can cause the ride to be a bit harsher than normal.

but the plus side is

the car is quicker to respond to changes of direction, feels more stable under cornering and can be controlled better :thumbup:

They're great. Got them in the imprezza.
