my skoda octavia aircon has just stopped working was regased last year , fans on radiator are not coming on when you turn aircon on , could be the fans need replacing

The fans work when the A/C works.. not the other way round. If your fans arent coming on then the A/C isnt working. This could be due to 3 common causes

1. There is no gas/ not enough gas in the system for the compressor to work. (Could be another leak.. may be just seaped out of the seals if you dont use the A/C often causing the seals to dry up)

2. The pressure sensor is faulty telling the compressor there is not enough pressure so the A/C compressor stops working

3. The compressor is faulty. Usually the centre bolt coming out (as i have said numerous times on the other thread you started)

Seems to me that you don't want an answer because you havent checked any of the things noted in the previous thread??
