okay so that one works,  why then when I try and post some others that are stored in my google account do I get an error message about 'You are not allowed to use that image extension on this community'

 

for example one that doesn't work is this extension 'https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/SwnoxpIYEnWr0SFrN0NNW_sbN4_sUN_1C9rd0_4LFog=w1199-h900-no'

 

just trying to post some beading photos and can't work out my little issue!

eh?  click on the link and you get a 404 error!...oh that's just because of the quotations...here it is without

reason for that photo is the thread the other day wax/sealant about sonax on AGAW.  the photo shows the results of my half roof test....and some pretty shonky beading on one half of the roof.

Images that end with a known extension are permitted. Urls that have lots of parameters fail the security validation checks. So when copying the image, make sure stuff after the or rather including the ?foo=bar isn't needed or copied.

 

so image.jpg is ok, image.jpg?content=foo or images/123-foo-bar isn't going to work, even if it does work in your browser.

I'll stuck it on o flickr and post it when I have a moment.  It clearly shows a difference.  The whole roof had almost 4 month old AGEGP and 2 month old AGAW, and half the roof had sonax BSD on top 6 weeks ago.  The BSD side was beading brilliantly, the other side was fairly degraded beading showing time for the reseal is nigh.   So guess what I've been doing this evening..... Full car wash by 2BM, then off side got a full decon (de tar, old sealant ipa'd away, deiron, farecla clay mitt) then rinse whole car, dry, apply AGEGP to offside and put car in garage.  Buff tomorrow and maybe try out the natty wax too.   Next wash I'll move to near side decon and seal, then roof.

1 hour 55 from going to get the car and buckets etc, to walking back inside.   Stiff back now...hmmm need ahot water bottle!
