right guys I recently fitted a head stud kit and ever since I got oil in my water bottle if I dip myfinger in bottle about an inch it looks like ive dipped my finger in oil temp light is flashing no over pressure in bottle no over heating and no coolant loss, no water in sump or showing on dipstick! is it possible the oil cooler which is water cooled at fault??

Yes, could well be oil cooler.

The oil coolers are quite common, I've changed a few.

Other thing could be what's mixed together when removing the head.

ive flushed it twice with coolant flush my oils dropping but no water in it but in the water system

Nice easy job anyway, I recall one of the seals is awkward to get hold of and the other most places stock.

They both need to be replaced so might be worth phoning the dealers and checking.

I got both here as was going to change them the other week but it was the sensor leaking

That's to be expected since the oil pressure is so much higher than the coolant pressure.

So there was no oil in water before the head came off, but once back on it was there straight away?

If that's the case doubtful it will be modine rusted threw, more than likely something has been damaged/not fitted correctly putting head back on.

Easy way to check the modine is remove the coolant pipes and put a joiner between them, then run around with it like that and see if you get oil coming out of the connections where you took coolant pipes off.
