Bluetooth Audio with GSM III ?

Featured Replies

Hello!

I'm new to this forum and are currently considering a Skoda Octavia 2011 1.6 TDI DSG L&K! :-)

I've asked the salesman if the car supports bluetooth audio streaming, which he had no idea of.

So I asked for the equipmentlist and it says:

PT4 G Telephone preperation GSM III with Bluetooth "PREMIUM" (HFP, rSAP, UMTS), "MAXI DOT".

Does this means it supports bluetooth audio?

I'm near sealing the deal on the car, but it would be a real disappointment if it does not support bluetooth audio!

Thanks in advance for answers! :-)

Regards

Stian

Thanks for answer JR RS :-)

I still find it kind of strange that it doesn't say anything about using A2DP which is the protocol for bluetooth audio, but is it some way included in HFP? Trying to google it, but can't really find an answer to it. I thought you needed A2DP for bluetooth audio streaming music.

Just to make things clear. I want to stream music from spotify over bluetooth to the car. Can't seem to find out anywhere if this car supports this.

It really depends on exactly which bluetooth module has been fitted.

Easily way to find out is to pair your phone to it and see what happens!
