Best 4x4 days out

Featured Replies

Has anyone got any suggestions to where we can book a day out on a 4x4 course, preferably using a supplied vehicle as I am sure Mrs C wouldn't be too happy if we got hers stuck in a ditch :o I did search on the net and found a few however thought I would ask the people on here just incase any of them had done it beofre or could reconmend somewhere.

Locality is not a major issue would be prepared to drive a few hours to get there and since we are in the middle of the country its a good spot to start form :)

Thanks in advance for the suggestions etc.

I would suggest any of these, but if you could do either "The Home of the Legend" basically our track at the Solihul plant, the home of the Land Rover and a hell of an experience, they have 4.2 V8 Ranger Rovers, Discovery's, Range Rover Sport's. For the courses you have the Jungle track, and an area with a seesaw, steps, 1:2 hill etc etc

Or try the Malverns location in Ledbury, this is where our test drivers take the prototype vehicles and it offers some serious driving!

I'm told the Solihull one is very good. :D Failing that, you could try a local Land Rover/offroading club - they tend to be a friendly lot and quite a few folks have 2 or 3 cars they trailer to events that they offer out to drivers :D

Other option is to do some green laning in the missus' vehicle :D
