Has anyone tried the shortcut to reset the service interval reminder, I gather the procedure is;

Switch off ignition

Press and hold button 3 (which is the trip reset button below the maxi dot) and turn on ignition simultaneously

Release button 3 and press again - this may then give some options depending on MY and if it is service or inspection reminder

Not sure if it will work but Just thinking it maybe useful for those who are on fixed servicing and/or like me you find her reminder comes on way too soon.

You can reset it for fixed interval servicing via infotainment!

I have.  My car came set to variable so I used that to reset it and got what I wanted, a 'oil change is due in 1 year'.   It's just had that, and now shows 1 year to oil change and 2 to inspection.  Not sure if that is right but he-yo.

 

How do you do it in infotainment?

I thought there was an option to reset under Car\setup\service but just checked and not currently an option on mine, could of sworn it was there on mine when it was flashing up for service due recently, but I only had a service 4 weeks ago, so perhaps only an option to reset when a service is due, will have to remember to check next time.

I wanted to reset mine as it kept reminding me 2000 miles out from the service, so every 7600 miles on mine - which is annoying on a 35k per year ave mileage - looked at the infotainment but never remember seeing anything., and this is the method that the workshop manual States.
