PID.

Featured Replies

Since I have given up using the PID is it necessary to charge it occasionally for it to maintain serviceability for such time as I sell the car? Thanks. Dennis.

like all battery power devices, it doesn't hurt to charge it now and again to help keep the battery in good condition

long periods of full discharge are normally what kills a battery along with over charging

battery was dead on ours at 18 months but out of the 12 month warranty

Internal battery is very poor and will quickly go flat. When flat the PID is reluctant to come to life and find GPS for miles when plugged into car. Use it from time to time each month.

Thanks. It is what I suspected so I guess I'll have to plug it in occasionally. Dennis.
