Rear number plate lights loose

Featured Replies

My rear number plate light fittings seem really loose. Last night one side of the light was almost hanging out. Does anyone know how to tighten them? I know there's a piece of metal on one side that acts like a spring but is there a way to make the light fitting sit tightly in the hole?

That metal spring is really the only thing keeping it in. I'd imagine the spring has deformed slightly (if you previously removed it). IIRC there's a a specific way of installing, if wrong it caused deformation of the spring. IIRC put plastic side in first...them spring side (it's in the manual).
