Does anyone have the genuine Skoda sill trims factory or dealer fitted to their Rapid (or Spaceback)?

If so, could you please post some close-up pics of the front and rear trims in place (or please post some measurements of how far away they are from something like the overlaps in the floor trim, something I can use for reference), I'd like to double-check the locations for fitting.

I've just offered them up to the sills and it's not 100% clear where I should locate them, and I'd like to avoid spending another £20+ on the positioning templates.

Not the same granted, but when I fitted some to OH's Peugeot 107 there were guide marks stamped into the door sill so you knew where to position them.

My Citroen C4 also had markers stamped into the metal - nothing like that on the Rapid. Instead, Skoda sells positioning templates, which cost about £20. Like I said, would rather avoid buying them if I can at all avoid it.

Agreed £20 is £20 and needs to be avoided. Sorry can't help anymore.

 

Hopefully one of the other Rapid owners can help with some measurements.

Hope these help. Self explanatory really. Genuine skoda part and fitment

front door one shows measurement from the join in the plastic strip that is located towards the front half of the trim

The rear show the measurement from the door hinge

Here are mine i fitted myself i just slid the first one until it fitted the contore of the sill marked with some masking tape then measured. Transfered the measurements to the other side  Done the same to the rear (Genuine)

Thanks again chaps for the pics and measurements. Finally got round to fitting them today - went on nicely.

I'm having a few expensive months, but when I have a few coins slohing around I intend ordering a set of these - thanks for the pictures, they will come in useful once I do. Which will probably be after christmas now...
