So I finally decided to ignore all the horror stories about the dreaded implications of DPFs and traded my 1999 Octavia 1.9 TDI in for the 2007 VRS and am picking it up from Nottingham on Saturday. I drove one of these last year and fell in love with it. One owner and main dealer serviced from new, 49,000 miles, not a scratch on her. I was originally looking for black or blue, but this one happens to be yellow. I've always been of the opinion that no car under 250 Bhp should be yellow, but from what I hear I should be able to get it around there with a little time and a lot of money. Look forward to discussing this project and helping out with what I learn.
