Where exactly was it? In the left compartment in the boot? Btw mines a estate

My car is a 55 reg 2.0 Tdi Elegance and has the Audiance stereo. This unit contains the cd changer and radio all in the dashboard mounted unit. Does your unit have buttons for cd etc?

Seems weird that! My car came with the Stream CD player when I purchased it. I assume it was there from new. Ive changed it to a stream mp3.. Theres nothing at all behind both covers. No holes either for any wiring. Weird :s

I think if you hold the info button down, it'll show the vin numbers that the stereo is coded to. If there's more than one then the stereo has come out another car.

Sulayman95 - I don't know if the wiring is there but if it is, I have a changer if you cover the postage... And someone can tell me how the hell to get it out lol

If you take the panel off, you should see a plastic retaining cage. The CD changer just slots into that. The wiring for it simply comes through a hole in the side panel behind the cage. If it isn't there, and it should be, then the wiring may well have been pushed through the hole to hide it.

MAYBE the car did actually original did come from the factory with an Audience, which was changed at some time, maybe under warranty, for a Stream? I may be wrong, but I sure that I did read somewhere what the Audience wasn't the most reliable of units, and many were replaced.

No cage at all. Nothing what so ever. To me it looks like it was never fitted. The car must have come with an Audience when new. I only use CDs know and again. Mainly Aux. I was just wondering where the CD changer was as I couldn't find it.

Thanks anyway.

My 55 plate Elegance had the full 6 cd , it was loaded from the boot lhs.
