Recently aquired this Fabia and it comes with a Music System 202. The tape deck works fine but the FM/AM radio part is silent. I can't get anything to output at all, not even static.

 

 

Anybody know how to fix this or is the radio just dead?

Aftermarket radio works perfectly, I just would rather use stock because it covers the top bit of plastic and reception is generally better with stock units.

You will need 6Y0857231B41 to cover that gap from the top the aftermarket radio. Reception is fine if the aerial amplifier is connected correctly (the blue wire). Switch the red with the yellow wire to have the radio remember the settings after you remove the key from the ignition switch.
