Its official - Fabia vRS is a 'hot' hatch

Featured Replies

In top gear mag this month the fabia was mentioned in the 40 hottest hatches ever...

A charity vote for diesel agreed, but didnt get slated... They called it a street sleeper... and it is the Martine McCutcheon of ht hatches (cant be good?!?)

Also a funny quote (obviously top gear esque) about Alfa 147 GTA's traction issues- 'like a startled greyhound on a polished wooden floor'

So can it be compared to the other quicker, better handling hot hatches now? ;)

Always knew it was annoying ;)

All Charity gratefully accepted :)

~Come on, you'd hardly pitch Martine McCutcheon up against Angelina Jolie now would you

Pitch them both up against a wall and I'll have a go :naughty:

Sloppy seconds for me it is then :D

Yup, I saw the little Furby in their to, and with a nice big picture :)

Agreed with what they said about the C2 to.

What did it say about that like?

Built to appeal to a mass market of spotty oinks who were previously dropping their collective tracksuit bottoms over the ubiquitous Saxo' date=' the C2 tries a little too hard to be yoof. Could do with greater attention to quality control and a decent gearchange action, but not a bad fist hot hatch by any means.

Hmmm.Fabia is in Max Power this month (I understand) as a recommended car.

Let the real modding begin.Oh yes

Oh god tell me that isn't true, I only ordered mine yesterday. I got fed up of being called a "boy racer" when I had the scooby (and I'm 30!), I was hoping to get away from that stupid perception with the Fabia vRS!

Hmm octavia 2.0tdi elegance

THe review wasnt that bad, just compared it to other hot hatches. Was one of the slowest round the track with the clio 182 being the fastest.

No mods or gimics, just straight out of the bag. Although it did get 2nd overall, due to its styling and such.

Dont think people will be calling boy racer car just yet

or possible octi vrs diesel? :D

Er it's in Max Power

I personally dont think it will make any difference whether the complete w@nkers (they really are a bunch of nobs, there's one in particular  ) at Max Power hve featured it or not.

Young skum will not get over the badge, and I doubt many will be after a diesel, even if they test drive one, it will never be able have the ear popping exhausts that 1.2 Corsa's have, and meaty induction kits, and I doubt they could live with it.

So not really botherd, I am still yet to see someone my age behind the wheel (I know there's a few but there a rare bunch)
