Remap Done :-)

Featured Replies

Morning guys

finally got my Cr VRS remapped yesterday with the DSG and wow what a difference much nicer drive alot smooth and the power delivery is brilliant... i was kind of expecting it to be a little punchy although you read people say that the PD engine is punchy after map..

but the way the thing gavers speed now is amazing just makes me feel it should of always been that powerful.. the pull from 40-80 is very impressive...

the dsg map is great gear changes far more precise and the full manual mode on paddle is great

i have taken videos of the car in drive and sport from 40-80 mph with standard map and i will upload some with stage 1 i drive and sport so you can see the difference

very happy with the result  :D  :D  :D

Who did the remaps?

Who mapped it please?

John.

Glad you like it buddy. It is one of the best things you can do to these imo. I love mine now after my Shark map. Like you said the mid range now is a lot stronger. Eager to rev now too which was a bit of a nice shock. I actually did some timed acceleration pre and post map. Nothing scientific mind just the misses with a stopwatch. One log in 4th actually took about 7 seconds off the standard map!! Best money I've spent on a car no doubt.

Yeah its well worth the cost to have done.. I'm going to upload some video of the difference in performance just need to film the new map videos.. I've been missing some good power from coming from my corsa vxr which was just a riot to drive.. now it's got some good power really loving the car well loved it anyway but even more now

I was the same after my mk1 vrs which although i didn't map it I'm certain the previous owner had. The tdi vrs just felt a little lacking but it goes as well as that car i think. In fact higher speeds it feels a bit stronger. Well chuffed.
