Hi guys, I'm new to this site after ordering a new Scout, I'm looking for info on the spare wheels, the car comes with 17" on and I'm wondering which other VAG group wheels will fit so I can get a full size spare, thanks in advance.

I have the same query - having just taken delivery of a new Scout. I spoke to a dealer some months ago before ordering and was given an approximate cost of £400 for the genuine article. Unfortunately most cheaper sources appear only to sell sets of 4. Since it's only a spare to be used in an emergency I think anything of the right size from a scrapyard is the answer. Why were manufacturers ever allowed to stop providing a proper spare?
