Small abs question

Ive had the abs and traction light on for a while now i changed the hub made no diffrence so changed the sensor got them both from ecp. But lights are still on the fault is

00290 abs wheel speed sensor rear left g46 008 inplausible signal intermittent.

Last time a hub went im sure it was a mechanical failure error i got before i go buying another sensor or hub is this the fault for sensor/wiring to sensor or could this be due to a gap between the two. Im going to run a live run on vcds tomorrow on my way to work.
