SUK

Featured Replies

Ok I had a major service on my Fabia. Since then it's not been the same it revs up and down on its own and knocks when I start her up. My brother who works for skoda Ireland and is a diagnostics experts technician has advised me that a oil seal has been left on from the old oil filter. So I contacted SUK and they contacted lookers in Stockport who are a shambles may I add. It took them a month to phone me. So SUK where not very happy with there service and sent some suit and boot down to the dealership. So it's booked in on Friday. Let see what bull**** they come out with

Not Skoda UK's fault that there are cowboy garages about . . . unless it is an approved dealership?

You just can't get the staff these days . . . :(

;)

Except for their assessment and auditing processes.

Mystery buyer and mystery car problem/service audit .

My car was bought from them. They are abit hit and miss since with their after sales service. After politely making reminders to them they sometimes book their ideas up.

I do use an independant skoda garage on Leek now for servicing though, much happier with their service. No glossy broshures, just a proper job.

I don't think I will be as polite.

An apt acronym at times.

As much as I hate what you say, you're bang on!

The way I see it is they are there to do a job and help their customers, saying that, in their position i would be more inclined to help someone who was polite.

So you spoke with your feet then.

Good idea if they are crap, but inform Skoda UK and hopefully help other.

Yeah. People are all the time in if you speak nicely and politely but get your point across, they have a think about it and see what they can do.

If you go storming in there, saying this that n the other in a not so polite way, a barrier comes up and theyll do as least they can, and probably play awkward in return.

Ive had jobs where customers have spoken to be like dirt, telling me what to do. So i just pack my tools up and say goodbye. But thats the joys of being self employed.

Yeah. You have to be firm with them.

Theyve done it a few times.

Tried to refuse warranty work on reversing sensors, as they were fitted by a third party, but they got them fitted for me at PDI and confirmed at purchase theyre under the cars warranty.

Another time my mirror stalk broke off without any misuse at 4k miles. 'Youll have to pay for this sir, youve clearly broken it'. Nah. Its been used how it was intended to be and its not right. It needs fixin or ill be following up with SUK. 'Oh okay. We'll get you that ordered in' blah blah.

Ok I worded it wrong I will be firm. As polite is concerned I won't swear or speak to them like dirt I will forget to say thank you and please. They broke it so they can fix.
