So ive got a message on my answer phone from Preston (Lancashire) Skoda, that there is a outstanding recall on my car .... haha its 11 years old ....

 

So what are your guesses...??

A squeaky dash or airbag

I seen that recall and wasn't sure exactly which part it meant.

If its a vrs, it's the pump on the top right of the engine as you look into the engine bay.

This is the only recal I'm aware of. Rang the dealers when I got mine a few years back but said mine wasn't subject to recal.

There were 2 recalls on the Fabia MK1. Airbag and tandem pump.

 

The airbag was only very early models though I think.

 

I reckon it's the tandem pump recall.

Might be another problem - nut behind wheel needs lubricating . Not really a dealer recall - put car to bed, open can and driiiiink.

Which engine has it got? BLT or ASZ?
