G'day from Brisbane

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I'm in Brisbane, Australia and looking forward to taking delivery of a new Octavia later this week.  Mine'll be a 103TSI wagon (or estate as you Brits would have it, though "combi" is a new term to me -- notwithstanding the old VW vans of that name - but seems to be how the manual refers to it?).  Skoda's not a mainstream marque here, but seems to be gaining a bit of traction and after looking around at the competition I could understand why, so here I am. :)

Cheers,

Rob

Hi Rob - Welcome to Briskoda :hi:

Hi Rob,

I'm in Sydney, just bought a 2009 Octavia vRS petrol. My first Skoda, but my family in the UK have had Octavias, Fabias & Yetis over the past 15 years so I know how good they are, even though as you say they're not mainstream here. Seems to be changing though - the new Octavia will be very popular I think, for very good reason. I'd like to get one in a few years.

Cheers,

Steve
