Great pic!

Very nice.

What spec are they?

Trust the 4 x 4 is your one...LOL

Both 1.2 TSi DSG, with Auto lights, Park Assist. The 15 plate is mine and has the new engine with Stop Start, which I turned of after about 2 minutes! No 4x4 as we live in London and don't get near much wet stuff. I traded the 4x4 Octy estate, which has had it's use.

Bought the first one as it is accessible for my wife with her arthritis (new knee fitted last week!) Then decided to follow her, as the Octy was a bit difficult for her to get in to, and she drives mine when hers is off for servicing, etc.!

Is your new one the 1.2 110 engine? How does it compare to the older 105?

I've only driven it about three miles home, as it am on nurse duty with the wife. Doesn't feel very different, except for the Stop/Start, which was switched off VERY quickly. In traffic it's stupid, you roll forward ten feet, brake, engine dies, three seconds, foot of brake, start again!

Looks very smart. But enough of your excuses - tell the wife she'll have to look after herself for an hour while you go out and take the new motor for a run; you'll be OK, with the new knee she won't be able to catch you to box your ears for your impudence!!!

Interesting to hear your initial experience of the Stop/Start. So in summary, useless in congestion and unnecessary when traffic is free flowing and probably pointless when the new VED bands come in. Still, if that's all we can complain about we are very happy (smug?) owners.

Wonderful.

Congrats to the proud patents.  :giggle:
