I am due to pick up the new car tomorrow.

I will need to get a towbar fitted soon. Probably going to go for a fixed swan neck as they don't appear to cause issues with the parking sensors and I never removed my old detachable one anyway!

Does anyone have a pdf of fitting instructions for either the visual or westfalia models? And does anyone know if the Car has to be drilled?

I fitted the last towbar on my old vectra and it really wasn't hard. The only bit I couldn't do is code it in but that is easily sorted.

I am about to get a towbar, probably the Westfalia detachable swan-neck, for my newly acquired Octy.  I shall be getting it from PF Jones who have given impeccable service over the years. If you look at their web-site - google P F Jones - the PDF fitting instructions for each make of towbar can be accessed from the relevant car make/model page.
