First problem today,

Driving normaly changed from 4th to 5th car shuddered and engine management light came on.

Car then went into safe mode,so i limped into the dealer only 5 miles away and left it there any thoughts out there? :confused:

Good thing is they are easy to sort, bad news is they can pop any time anywhere on any VAG car mind

In fairness the dealer said it was the first they had seen it happen on an 05, there again it was the first 2.0 petrol they had had seen luckily I was only 2 miles from the dealer when it happened. :

On another note a nod of praise for the dealer Car turned around and serviced and valeted within 24 hours.
