a fella i know came to me tonight with a 1.4tfsi audi a1 not runing right he has changed all 4 spark plugs and coil pack 2 and 4 and i got these fault codes when i done a scan.

could anyone give me a clue where the problem could be ive got him to take the spark plug out tomorrow using the coil pack to make sure they are both working my next suggestion to him was a faulty injector. any help appreciated

 

 

Silly question, but which end of the engine is he assuming to be number 1 cylinder?, he may have changed 1 and 3 in error and still left the faulty units in place.

Also, how many of the codes return if you clear them down?.

cylinder 1 is on the timing end and cylinder 4 is on the gearbox end.

It needs a compression check carrying out across all 4 cylinders.
