Not really sure what the main dealer will do and what it achieves or what problems it avoids.

what's the damage,  and how do you know it's been done

Gather its been misfueled otherwise its a waste of money, why would you want to flush the fuel??

It's an excuse to charge you a significant amount to pour small bottle of cheap snake oil into the fuel tank.
