Arrgh Split boost hose - difficult access

Featured Replies

Had Eml on for a few days and black smoke coming out the back...

Had a proper look and top intercooler hose is split and its uprated silicone one....Pain in the rear????

Off to creation motorsport later for another as its local and save me waiting. Gees it was in a difficult position to get to. Do you guys usually whack the light out for easier access??

Gees ok...Is it that easy to get the bumper off?? Didn't realise...I know it clips round the sides,,No easier to take the light out?

Had a nightmare getting the hose off but have no idea how I'd get the clip back on the joint with so little access....

Think you can just get the light out, from memory it's only 2 bolts and 2 screws (torx), on of the bolts is a bit fiddly to get past the bumper but I found if you remove the bolt downwards once unscrewed it's easier.

Awesome your a star...Should have looked at this before I unbolted the intercooler so it would give me a little bit more give..

Lol I always use the search before doing anything!

I find the Google results are better than the one in the site though.
