Optional parts

2 x O-ring's

2 x Hose Clips

Guide

When I changed boost pipes I removed my front bumper, however I do not think this is necessary as removing the headlight gave plenty of access.

1)First step is to open the bonnet and locate the 3 torx screw and 1 bolt that holds the drivers side headlight in place.

1 bolt

1 torx screw

There is also the wiring plug for the headlight which pops off at the back.

2) Next remove the hose clip at the EGR valve and then the clip at the Intercooler, pop both ends out and remove boost pipes.

3) Compare new pipes to originals and trim accordingly.

This photo shows roughly what I removed

4) Then insert the 90 degree bend into the EGR coupler (64mm one) and the 45 degree bend into the remaining coupler.

Put the Intercooler coupler in its place, adjust bend accordingly and attach clip.

Put the stainless boost pipe into the 90 degree bend, position the coupler at the EGR valve, it will sit closer to the firewall at this point insert the other end into 45 degree bend.

It is a tight fit, push the stainless hose into the silicone bends until the coupler is in line with the EGR valve, insert coupler and attach hose clip.

Check the pipes do not touch/rub against anything.

Tighten jubilee clips and replace headlight.

Sorry to sound dense Mike, but in your parts list you mention a 60mm coupler, but on the forge link they have a 60mm/51mm coupler (type A) - is this the correct one?

Cheers

Unfortunately it was one of the parts I got off of TrevorB33 so didn't deal with Forge direct on this one, i'd imagine they could easily make a straight through 60mm one, if they couldn't you could just use a 51mm 45 degree bend instead of a reducing 60mm-51mm 45 degree bend.

Such as this

is'nt the 45 degree pipe actually 135 degree's...

Ah wee bit of maths fun ...... its whats advertised so thats what I put
